What is a Fresh 48 Session?

Yesterday’s blog post I shared my approach and heart behind newborn photography and today we are talking about Fresh 48 sessions!

“Fresh 48” is just the fancy photography world name for in-hospital photos. These photos are taken within the first 48 hours of the babies life while you are still in the hospital or place of birth. It’s a fun way to capture the joy and feel of that time and some of the babies very first visitors.

This type of session can’t really be scheduled until the baby makes their entrance to the world. I have clients let me know their expected due date and then when they are born we make plans to have me visit to take pictures.

It’s important to me to have a quick turnaround with the images so you can share your new joy with your family! Grandmas will love it!
