A sunny, winter engagement session in Marquette Michigan.

Northern Michigan has been in rare form recently with all this glorious sun! The warmth and brightness of the sun is so uplifting in the winter, but getting to take portraits in it is the next level! I LOVED my time with Calen and Lindsay and was squealing with delight at the perfect day we were blessed with!

I knew we were set for an awesome session together from my conversations with Lindsay. I send all my clients a style guide with suggestions and tips on how to make their session successful and they had complete trust in my vision and took all my suggestions to heart. She texted me a few days before the session and said they had 3 different outfits and let me tell you they were all amazing! I told them that the locations that I picked might not have looked like anything special right away but they both understood how important good light was and let me run with it and it was so worth it!
