An Iron Mountain Michigan, Redemption Hill Church Wedding

Calen and Lindsay were married on Saturday surrounded by the most loving group of friends and family in their home church in Iron Mountain MI. Like most 2020 weddings their plans had to change a few times causing them to scale back their guest list and move times around but they were determined to still get married! Lindsay and her mother handmade face masks to match the wedding colors as an option for their guests to wear!

I just loved the closeness of their day. Their family plays a close role in their lives and are a big system of support as they enter into this new season and it was so evident all day! All three of Lindsay’s siblings were in the bridal party and both of their nieces and nephews were a big part of the day too! The couple choose to have Calen’s parents and Lindsay’s brother speak during their ceremony and it was filled with so much wisdom and the importance of a Christ centered marriage. It was so touching.

I just loved the attention they gave to everyone else even on their big day. Two of the sweetest people with the biggest hearts!

Calen has been chasing Lindsay for years and they have been together since high school. It was so special to take wedding pictures as the same place they posed for prom photos many years ago!

Thank you so much for an amazing day, enjoy your recap!

You’ll have to excuse the photo overload! They were able to get SO many great portraits in multiple locations because they placed a high importance on photos and planned for it. It paid off for sure, just wait until you see the sunset images!

The peonies were in full bloom and were all picked locally for the bouquets and centerpieces. They matched the invitation suite and other decor perfectly for a beautiful, cohesive feel!

Prepare yourself! We had an absolute blast shooting these and I don’t think their smiles ever got tired! Sunset portraits are ALWAYS a good idea!

Thank you so much Calen and Lindsay! It was the most perfect day with the best people!

My niece Lily snapped this as we finished up, it was so nice having her along to help out. Thanks so much Lil!
