Sam & Maija (Eagle River, MI Wedding)
Sam & Maija - August 18, 2018
8-18-18 was the most popular wedding date of the year and I loved spending it with this couple!
Sam and Maija's wedding was at his Father's cabin on the shores of Lake Superior in Eagle River and it was the perfect location for their intimate ceremony. The color blue they chose was the perfect compliment to the outdoor setting!

“I hold on” was engraved in their rings, and was also their first dance song!

Maija, you made the most stunning bride!

Bridesmaids reveal! 💞

Their son Harrison didn’t want anyone but his dad so Sam held him the entire ceremony, seriously SO Precious!

Harrison hid in his dad’s shoulder the entire ceremony. He popped up during the first kiss and notice everyone looking and decided dad’s shoulder was safer! Haha! 😊

This bridal party kept me laughing all day!

Due to the major flooding in June, many of the trees went into shock and lost their leaves already. This stop was close to their reception and I wanted to take advantage of the rare colorful photos for their August wedding. Years from now, they will remember that they wed the year of the historic flooding.
When we were taking these images Maija mentioned that Sam originally wanted a fall wedding but has a thing with 8s so they chose 8-18-18 instead. How absolutely unique that he got both?!

Copper Crust Co made their wood fired pizza’s for dinner and it was DELICIOUS!!! Locals, if you ever see their food truck in the Marquette area you MUST stop!

I love wedding toasts, the best man is guaranteed to make you laugh with an embarrassing story and the MOH is sure to make you cry!

So many cute kiddos!

It was so fun to see a past NCP couple Lance and Alyssa with their darling Kaden!

We stole away from the reception for a bit to end our evening with golden, sunset portraits!

Thank you for letting me document your beautiful day!
