Luke & Lily Proposal

Luke and Lily are getting married!!!

I was so excited when Luke reached out to me to photograph their proposal and goodness it was a hard one to keep secret. Lily had told him that she really wanted the moment photographed and suggested he reach out to me. We were going to have to come up with a good plan so she wouldn’t suspect a thing!

We decided on Mclains beach so that I could hide in the trees and let him know when I was in position…which WOULD have worked out except we didn’t remembered that there isn’t cell phone service there! haha!

I followed them down to the beach at a distance and hid in the trees and then lost them, I was frantically texting to let him know where I was so he could set up within eye shot but quickly realized nothing was going through. I was quite the sight wearing a green jacket with a hood, trying to blend in and creeping around the trees looking for them! 😂 I sure hope no swimmers saw me and were creeped out by the girl hiding in the bushes with her camera! haha!!

JUST as he was running out of explanations for their wandering around the beach, I spotted him and gave him the signal! Whew!

The moment you realize your fiance is the sweetest and had it photographed! Lily said she was especially surprised not thinking it would happen that night because she saw on my instagram story that I had a “family session.” We both laughed because that was all part of the plan, we tried everything to make sure she would be surprised!
