Kevin & Kelsey (Marquette, MI Wedding)
Kevin & Kelsey - August 10, 2019
And just like that they are married!! We have been waiting for this wedding for years! Six to be exact! So crazy to be there from the beginning and now be photographing their big day!
Kevin and Kelsey’s day was perfect in every way! The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious and everything went off without a hitch! Kelsey is a planner and very into details so she thought of everything! The luxury of having the bride be a good friend is you can make photo suggestions and they take everyone of them! Their day was honestly a dream to photograph and I couldn’t be happier for them to start their life together!
We started the morning at Kelsey’s parents house doing hair and enjoying a delicious breakfast by her mother. Her cooking never disappoints, just wait until you see all the treats at the reception!
Can you find me?! I played double duty all morning! It was nice to spend the morning visiting and getting ready with the girls and be in casual photographer mode before the craziness of the day started!
Kelsey chose to have just her mother help her get ready and then do a first look with the bridesmaids and her dad. Goodness there was so many tears, I’m glad the photos turned out because I couldn’t see half the time! ha!
Little Presque Beach in Marquette was a perfect place for their first look and portraits. Kevin and Kelsey wrote letters to each other and read them separately before they saw each other.
I had so much fun with the bridal party! They were all good sports and I knew everyone of them so it made it that much easier!
When Kelsey showed me pictures of her dress I knew we would have fun playing with the full skirt and long veil in photos! Her maid of honor Mallory stayed to help because goodness those skirts are heavy! We had so much fun making her look like a woodland princess!
I don’t normally include family photos in the blog posts but these ones are extra special! The full Erva family!
This was so sweet. Kevin’s Grandma has a necklace she hand delivers to every bride in the family to wear on their wedding day. It is something old, borrowed and blue!
I took so many reception photos! All the details were beautiful! Kelsey hand monogrammed many pieces and it tied everything together so well!
Thank you so much Kevin and Kelsey! I can’t wait to come visit you in your new state!
