2018 Bridgefest Parade
The biggest festival in Houghton County happens every year in mid-June to celebrate the Portage Lake Lift bridge connecting Houghton and Hancock. Yesterday evening was the parade with fireworks tonight! Before the parade, I went down to the waterfront with my parents, sister, and nieces to get dinner from the local vendors!
I have been wanting to try the new BBQ restaurant in town and was excited they were going to be at bridgefest. Baby E's BBQ

This was the absolute cutest thing! Gardenview Assisted Living had one of their residents passing out candy to the children! The employees would push her back and forth to all the kids and she absolutely LOVED it!
