A Belsoda Farms, Marquette Michigan Wedding

I'm in full wedding mode over here and I am LOVING it!! I really do fall in love with wedding photography all over again at the start of each year. I have been excited and anticipating Saturday's wedding for quite some time. When Lauren first emailed me about shooting their wedding I so loved their idea of a destination wedding in Marquette. They grew up together in the Chicago area but it wasn't until college that started dating and then traveling to the UP together. The Upper Peninsula and all its outdoor beauty drew them to vacation here every year so they knew they wanted to incorporate this special place into their day!

Although neither family is from the area there was no shortage of guests at their wedding. Countless friends and family members traveled to celebrate their special day and it was so evident how much they meant to them.

Rob and Lauren chose to do a first look which allowed plenty of time pre-ceremony to get some awesome portraits of the two of them. They also opted to not have a bridal party. My only focus with portraits was on the happy couple and I wasn't complaining! ;)
