We lucked out with gorgeous weather for Alan and Lucy's backyard wedding this past weekend. Coming from nothing but rain recently we were even grateful to be sweating! ;)

Alan and Lucy's day was a lovely low-key day spent with the most important people in their lives. The groom's childhood home was the perfect setting for their backyard wedding and the Miscowaubik Club where the reception was held fit the style of the wedding so well. Perhaps my favorite part was the morning wedding complete with brunch and a pool tournament!

They are both book lovers, so their whole day was themed around this, it was fun to incorporate them into a few of the detail shots.

Alan was a cook and Lucy was a waitress at Gino's restaurant where they first met, they wanted to incorporate this special place into a few photos. I was happy to photograph them where their love story first started!

I loved her gorgeous, pocketed tea length dress! Every girl should have pockets on their dresses! ;)
