Darren and Amelia part 1 (Keweenaw County, MI wedding)

Darren and Amelia's wedding is one of my favorites to date!  They are two of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of photographing.  And their family and friends were no exception!

Their beautiful wedding was held in the Keweenaw! I LOVE it out there, endless photo opportunities! :)

We started the morning off at Regis Salon in Houghton (they always do such a wonderful job).  Even though we were quite a bit behind schedule, Amelia was as calm as could be!

This was the inspiration for her hair, I was so impressed how much the final product looked like the picture.

Amelia got her bridesmaids flannels to wear throughout the day, we didn't know how much they would come in handy later! ;)

everyone got ready at the Eagle River Inn.  Can you spot the dress?

Amelia, you are STUNNING!

The whole bridal party rode in the back of the truck, drove by the bride and groom to Eagle River, where the reception was held.

Amelia's bridesmaids wearing the flannels she gifted to them, and Darren's groomsmen with the axes he gifted them!

The girls wanted to do the "Bridesmaids" pose from the movie Bridesmaids.  We all racked our brains trying to remember what it looked like.  I think we did pretty good! haha :)

more photos from Darren and Amelia's day to come soon! Stay tuned! :)
